Pompey’s academy striker, Ashley Harris, has been nominated for another Goal of the Month award following his 20-yard strike against Cardiff City.
Harris, 18, previously won the award for September 2011 for a stunning bicycle-kick from 20-yards out – a goal that could’ve won Goal of the Season in the Premier League. Now Harris has been nominated again for his thunderous strike against Cardiff.
The youngster has been on the bench a number times for the first team, and made his first team debut as a second-half substitute in Pompey’s 4-1 home win against Birmingham City last month.
Another academy player, George Colson, came third place for November’s Goal of the Month as well.
